AHH Lee Young is dying!!! O__O But surely, the writer wouldn’t kill him off? But I can’t help but believe in the forecast that predicts the Crown Prince has a short life… My prediction is that Young will die and then come back in a new life? Kind of similar to what happened to Byung Yeon. Then, he will be able to somehow reunite with Ra On and maybe a new king (leader) will be established? *fingers crossed*

Where is Ra On’s father and mother? The rebels?

Ah, so that was her dream/nightmare alluding to Young’s death.

Why didn’t the palace maid who tasted the tonic beforehand not die?

So it was attempted poisoning?

Historical fusion dramas and their obsession with the moon (titles)?

I will never get over how indiscreet Ra On’s disguises in the palace are. There’s so little effort to hide her face that it’s kind of ridiculous.

Saved again by the eunuchs.

Where do they get all of the extra clothes/uniforms?

Sometimes it annoys me how helpless/powerless Ra On is. She always has this pained (tearful) expression on her face like the classic damsel in distress. She’s been a man in disguise all her life, you’d think she’d have some ability to defend and protect herself. I’m not talking super martial arts, but I feel it would’ve been much more handy for her character to have it, especially if she would participate in the rebellion.

Is she glad he almost died?

Ah, now it’s revealed. Very clever!

The writer gives so many opportunities and reasons for Young and Ra On to meet, almost without us knowing. Very cleverly planned!

She makes no effort to hide!

Where is her bracelet?

OMG, she sees them!

It’s always stricken me how ruthless Yoon Sung can be, which he probably inherited from his grandfather.

I like the Jo Ha Yeon character, she’s more strong-minded than Ra On.

Healer: Final Episode

Oh my god, I CAN’T BELIEVE this drama is almost over. Like, I’m only one episode away from reaching the end. O__O

I discovered the true greatness of “Healer” with only a few episodes left till Pinocchio’s finale. Shortly after I finished that charming drama, I was able to find comfort in watching “Healer”, my heart pounding so much louder than in “Pinocchio” sometimes. It gave me the vibe of “City Hunter,” only with the addition of reporters and minus the whole scheming revenge plot. And gradually, I came to develop an infatuation with the lead actor, Ji Chang Wook, and a somewhat hidden love for the character of Seo Jung Hoo. Along with a pretty tightly written story/plot that broadly reflects the state of Korea’s society today, I was completely hooked. And now, it’s the end… Let’s look forward to a finale as awesome as the drama itself! 🙂

Wow, that was fast. I think I might re-watch this final episode, that might be a first for me, LOL. This finale leaves a lot of questions unanswered, and it does seem a little bit rushed. The airport scene was very exciting, but most of the time I had no idea what was going on. So that gives me more reason to watch it again, because for now I don’t completely understand.

Earlier on in the episode we’re shown that the Elder might be abandoned by his group of corrupted leaders, and most importantly, as CEO of Omega Holdings. So, I guess we’re made to guess how he will end up, as it is revealed in the end how he was involved in the village epidemic. For some reason I was expecting a more direct serving of justice, the rightful amount that Elder and company should deserve.

I was wondering when and for what Jung Hoo was doing the interview where he reveals that he’s Healer, and that hasn’t been answered, either. It doesn’t fit into the current plot of the episode, because it seems like he faked Park Bong Soo’s death, aka Healer, an assassin employed by Omega. But I might be misunderstanding this part, so we’ll see about that, when I get the chance to look this over again. It might just be a way for the writer to show Jung Hoo’s true feelings, or maybe Someday had plans to interview him before the airport mission, or do something with it.

However, for now I’m completely satisfied with this ending. It’s somewhat realistic, and somehow not. Because it doesn’t provide a full answer for everything, it doesn’t really close like a storybook. But that’s what life is, and the drama is made to show that there’s still a world after it ends, where Jung Hoo and Young Shin live in. On the other hand, we’re given a good amount of fan service, which results in an unrealistic happy ending, mostly for our JungShin couple. Although things would probably not end that well for people like them in real life, we get what we truly wish for them, and it is fulfilled in the drama.

But I still can’t grasp the fact that “Healer” has finally ended. I’m still in denial about it, actually. I will truly, REALLY miss this drama… 😥

Pinocchio: Final Episode

OMGOMGOMG. I can’t believe we’re already here! It’s the final episode of “Pinocchio.” O__O

I’m certainly not ready to say goodbye to this drama, the end just kind of snuck up on me! 😥

“Pinocchio” was probably the best drama of 2014, ending what seemed to be a pretty sucky year with a bang. It became the second “trendy” full (20-episode) SBS drama that Park Shin Hye worked on in a row, continuing from last year in 2013 with “Heirs.” (Now that I think about it, both dramas are very similar to previous dramas that the two main actors, Lee Min Ho and Lee Jong Suk, already did – “Boys Over Flowers” and “Heirs”, “I Hear Your Voice” and “Pinocchio.”) Although it didn’t achieve the same number in ratings as “Heirs,” “Pinocchio” turned out to be a much better drama, fortunately giving Park Shin Hye a fantastic role as the charming character Choi In Ha. In Ha has become one of my favorite K-drama heroines, because of the very fact that she closely resembles me as a 막말마녀, aka 독설가. This drama genuinely made me laugh and cry along with its characters, and enabled me to learn something valuable about journalism. 🙂 I really can’t find anything particularly wrong with it, and let me just say, I LOVE IT. ❤

Ah… I don’t want to let you go, 달인커플. It’s finally time. Let’s get to it~!

[So, while I was watching this finale, my mom interrupted me several times because there was an argument going on between my dad and my brother, and eventually, I had to stop watching. 😦

Now, two days after (on Saturday, January 17th), I’m picking up where I left off, near the beginning of the second half of the final episode. It’s where Dal Pyung calls In Ha and Dal Po over to tell them something, probably about Grandpa. Let’s go (again)!]

Oh my god, it’s already the end of this wonderful drama. This has got to be my favorite rom-com in what seems like forever. This is probably my first that directly deals with the issues of marriage, and fortunately I was pleased with the way “Marriage Not Dating” dealt with them. I’m going to miss this drama so much!!! 😥
